【Abstract】

 

In October of 2024, Prof. Dean Ho and team launched DELTA, a first-in-kind human trial - with Prof. Dean Ho as the test subject. This N-of-1 protocol harnesses a combination of digital medicine, fasting, fitness, and food to optimise metabolic health, monitored using an array of digital health platforms. Built from an unprecedented dataset, this study will culminate in a digital twin of Dean to hyper-personalise his cardiometabolic health protocol. Outcomes from this trial will create data collection frameworks to power population-scale healthspan optimisation and design regimens that do not require sustained digital monitoring to impact even larger communities.

【BIOGRAPHY】

 

Professor Dean Ho is currently Provost’s Chair Professor, Director of The Institute for Digital Medicine (WisDM) at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine; Director of The N.1 Institute for Health (N.1), and Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He leads a pre-eminent team that has led first-in-kind human trials for digital longevity medicine and digital oncology with life-saving outcomes.Prof. Ho is an elected Fellow of the US National Academy of Inventors (NAI), American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE), and the Royal Society of Chemistry. Prof. Ho is Co-Chair of the World Health Organization (WHO) Working Group for the regulation of AI for Health.Prof. Ho is an author of the best-selling book, Medicine Without Meds, a blueprint for accelerating practice-changing innovation to patients and caregivers.

 

迪恩·霍教授目前担任新加坡国立大学（NUS）的教务长讲席教授、杨潞龄医学院数字医学研究所（WisDM）主任、N.1健康研究所（N.1）主任以及生物医学工程系主任。他领导着一个顶尖团队，该团队率先开展了数字长寿医学和数字肿瘤学的人体试验，并取得了挽救生命的结果。霍教授是美国国家发明家科学院（NAI）、美国科学促进会（AAAS）、美国医学与生物工程学会（AIMBE）和英国皇家化学学会的当选会士。霍教授是世界卫生组织（WHO）健康人工智能监管工作组的联合主席。霍教授是畅销书《无药医学》的作者，这本书是加速将实践变革创新带给患者和护理者的蓝图。
